Learn how to become an effective member of a high-performance Agile Release Train (ART) as well as how to collaborate effectively with other teams in order to be successful.

A high-performance member of an ART must possess the tactical skills needed to be successful in working in a SAFe® environment. Your role in an Agile team will be taught to you in this course and you will discover how your team interacts with other Agile teams as a part of an ART. You will learn how to plan and execute work, how to apply the Scaled Agile Framework and Agile principles, as well as how to continually improve. When you take this course, you will be able to collaborate effectively, complete the best possible work, and get started right away on your next planning event.

During the course you will also gain skills in writing user stories, breaking down features, planning and executing iterations, and working together to plan on a cadence within Planning Intervals. As a bonus, you will learn the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, the DevOps culture, how to integrate with other teams effectively, and what it means to continuously improve the team.

Those who attend the class are prepared to take the exam and become Certified SAFe® Practitioners once they have passed the exam.

Become a certified SAFe® Practitioner by developing the skillset that’s in demand around the world.

As a Certified SAFe® Practitioner (SP), you will learn how to use Scrum, Kanban, and XP in a SAFe governed environment. In addition to planning Planning Intervals and Iterations, you will also practice breaking requirements down into stories, developing incrementally with built-in quality, demonstrating value at both the team and ART level, and resolving impediments to drive relentless improvement throughout the organization.

SAFe® for Teams classes are often delivered by industry leaders who will tell you that the instructor you choose to deliver your class makes a huge difference, especially when you start your digital transformation. In my role as SPCT, I have implemented the Scaled Agile Framework, launched Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and built high-performing agile teams, with proven success in overcoming transformation challenges. There have been many developers I have coached along their journey to understand what a successful Lean-Agile development looks like and what pitfalls to avoid along the way. My goal is to provide you with a meaningful understanding of SAFe, bringing my experiences and real-world examples to the class, and I also welcome you to share and analyze your own unique context as well.
